Customer's Rating & Reviews (All-Reviews)
There are 2 handsets supplied with this device. I've owned it for only a few months now, its become increasingly unusable.
---------------------
All the features work well, after a while, going through various steps to use it fully become easy. Like anything else, you must read the manual. Its confusing at first, this is the price you pay for all the features(when the darn phone works)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
There are a few clutzy things, I was willing to overlook that, but as this phone deteriorates, the line has been crossed.
----------------------------------------------------------
More and more often, a fully charged phone becomes uncharged, for no apparent reason. This has been going on for a while. At first, I attributed it to pets bumping into the phone, maybe jostling the phone so it didn't sit in its cradle correctly.
-----------------
Several times, using the phone, while sitting just a couple feet from the cradle, I have gotten a message to the effect" "unable to connect". What the heck?
------------
Today, I am simply cut dead after I dial and the phone rings once. This happened before. I paid a premium for a phone with all the "bells and whistles". I could have bought a single handset unit for about 1/3 the cost of this phone.
------------
There may well be a toll-free number I can use to call Panasonic. If so, I do not look forward to calling a company, listening to an endless menu, finally reaching someone. Then **IF** I'm lucky, they'd replace it after I pay shipping back. And while this phone is out, I can use my primitive corded phone.
-------------------
This phone uses regular chargeable batteries, I thought that would be a big plus. What I paid for a phone of this quality is outrageous. I've tried switching handsets between cradles, making sure batteries are solidly in the unit, keeping phones on cradles where pets can't bump them
----------------------
I will suck up this loss. I would NEVER trust the Panasonic name again. Its my fault, I chose the brand. I suspect I'll buy a single handset with minimal features. If I only pay a third the price of what I paid for this phone, it won't hurt so badly if it doesn't last long.
I thought the Panasonic name meant something. It does--low quality.

We own it, our cordless phone Panasonic seconds, for about a year. My wife and I felt that the change of Panasonic "state of the wireless phone" has made this upgrade is worth it. Since this acquisition, we have maintained the use of the new "Talking Caller ID. No need to test the connection from the phone to see who's calling. Now, after the second ring, caller ID can be heard throughout the home. Another feature we liked is the ability to block unwanted calls. Once the caller's telephone number was included on its list of blocked calls, all the caller hears a busy signal. Looking for a new cordless phone can be a tedious task. stop here and make sure that this will be a good buy.

I upgraded my phone because of the new features I've seen. Blocking call was what I was looking for. They used Panasonic phones before and never had any problems.

We bought this phone to replace what was a series that has taken interference.Overall vtech 5.8 are satisfied dosnt pick up sounds of did.but old game has a few draw backs. Sometimes, when talking on the phone (or hand assembly), there is an echo when you list talk.second a missed call after 2 rings, even if you take the third is listed as a menu call. The lost can be a bit 'of pain to go also .. So do not beat our last phone, but it is still not perfect.

I set them after the initial charge and it worked perfectly. Good sound quality and easy to use. There is no problem at all. Nothing less expected from Panasonic.
