First off thanks to all the other reviews...thats one of the reasons i bought it...the other was the price for the features and the free shipping...it is a slim design so people with ham hands might not like it but it feels great not too light, not too clunky...VERY easy to set-up! i didnt even open the manual...there arent a great amount of features, but those trinkets usually run up the price or sacrifice the other qualities like sound etc...this phone sounds great, looks great, feels great and i'm glad i got it! doesnt mess with my 2.4ghz router like my uniden 2.4ghz phone did so thats worth the purchase right there!

This is a real good phone. All the features work well and is simple to set up. The only concern I have is this. I have another cordless phone of a different brand and model. This other phone started having unbearable static while in use to which it was impossible to hold a conversation over. I am certain the problem is being caused by the Vtech. The Vtech works fine, but I get unreliable use from my other phone now. Something to watch out for.

I have had many phones. I really like this one. It is easy to understand and the sound quality is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an inexpensive phone with good quality.

I bought this to replace an older cordless phone/answering machine. It is much smaller and takes up less desk space. One thing I like about it is it can be expanded by just buying additional handsets. It was easy to set up and it is very easy to operate.

One thing I have to get used to is the speakerphone function only works with the handset out of the cradle. My former phone had it in the base and the handset didn't have to be removed to use the speakerphone capability. Otherwise, the phone
is excellent with controls very well designed. The audio quality is very good.

Overall, I am very pleased with this phone.

Terrible phone and answering machine. The answering machine is programmable only through the phone uinit; since the phone unit will not charge and, therefore, does not work, the answering machine cannot be programmed. The directions that come with this phone and answering machine combo are completely useless. They do not adequately explain the set-up procedures nor do they provide information for troubleshooting problems (e.g., the fact that the handset won't take a charge). I threw away my money purchasing this thing.
