Tina Davis ( Alexandria, VA ) I wanted a no frills phone, no digital answering machine, very basic phone for my home office. I log onto a phone switching system so calls are forwarded to the line. I do, however, need caller ID. Unfortunately the caller ID is not reliable. It will display the correct number, but the name from a previous call will get stuck in the display for who knows how long. It is important for me to be able to see who is calling me so I can start to pull the customer up in my database. That is a fail. I am thinking about getting a separate Caller ID display unit. The sound quality is adequate; however I am using it with a Plantronics wireless headset so it is hard to determine an exact source of any deficiency. The included handset does not have a belt clip. I only needed a handset to be able to go get a cup of coffee, etc and still be able to get my calls so this is another fail. I do like the simplicity of use and function and it is a good price. Overall, I am pleased with the product.

- Call quality is way better than the V-tech I got from T-mobile a,d the Uniden that I tried before this.
- Voice mail alert does not work with this particular service.
- Speaker on the handset is there if you need it, but not of a very good quality.
- Speaker on the base is very good.
Would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

A. Broyles ( Oklahoma City, OK ) I purchased this phone strictly for the looks and the price. The phone looks great and very stylish and the price was a steal. However, the phone is made of light plastic. I am extremely afraid to drop the phone as I am sure it will break.
The key pads on both units are made without back-lit keypads. This easy to add feature would have made this phone so much better.
I was going to give the phone three stars, but for the price and looks, a well deserved four is given.
One last note:
For some reason I was under the impression that the phone had a built in answering machine. That is not the case. It is set up to work with your landline's voicemail. Hope this information helps.

R. Augusto ( Rockville, MD ) I got this for magicjack and it works great. Phone is solid for the price. Music on Hold is corny, but owell. Only reason that I gave a four star is cause you can't see any keys in the dark. If they added that 1 led light, the phone would be perfect
