Certainly not the ultimate in technology but if you need an extra one line cordless, this is an incredible buy.

Bought ths because it was cheaper than replacing the battery of my older cordless. If you have the money, I recommend the UNIDEN waterproof phone.

Phone is well made, easy to use and program, and has good range in my large apartment. Signal reaches through concrete and brick walls. Sound quality is fine. The only negative is that the lcd monitor is a little hard to read.

phone works well, the only downfall I have noticed is the volume isn't very high; other than that I would recommend it

This phone is a complete disappointment. If I don't maintain a line of sight with the base I start getting static. Close the door of the room where the base is, more static. Go around the corner into another room, I might as well be talking from Antarctica. The channel switching is totally useless. What's the point of it being cordless if I have to be within a few feet to get decent reception? I'm returning this thing as soon as possible.
