Sneaky ( Atlanta, Georgia ) I am one of the buyers who have read reviews, and trust. This phone is rated very high and had hundreds of fantastic reviews, so when it's time to upgrade my old VTech cordless phones at 2.4 GHz, I was expecting a major update with this Panasonic. Less than 48 hours after purchase, I am packing and return it.
There are two main reasons that are causing me to return the phone. The first and most important is the quality of sound. I had several conversations with different people - both local and long distance - and while I'm talking about the sound cuts in the unit. Sounds as if the other party hung up on you. Then ask: "Are you still there?" several times during the conversation, so that the other speaks. Do not tell my wife, and then today spent some time on the phone and complained about it, well, then we both noticed immediately.
The second reason I return this phone is the LED on the device. When you are sitting in the charging, the orange LED at the top of the machine lit up like a torch. This is not a problem in the office, living room or kitchen, but the room is incredibly boring. I wake up several times over the past two days and was surprised (especially since my eyes dark adapted) with diamonds like this thing was going on the ceiling of our room (and the ceiling is 9 'high).
I can not speak for the battery life, even if this was the main reason why I upgraded. The feature set of the phone is good. I like to call the projection in which you can hear people leave a voice message to all devices at home. I also like the fact that you can check your mailbox from any phone, and the LED flashes on the phone when a new voicemail is waiting. The menu system, like many others have said, it takes some 'getting used to, but I would say that is bad. VTech better than what we have now, for sure! The main base of the phone has a small footprint, which is great for saving desk space.

Blackbird ( Davis, CA USA ) I had this unit for a couple of months and I am satisfied so far. A major advantage is the key positions in the apparatus: they are spaced far enough apart that quickly dial numbers are more reliable than other phones I've used and I'm still a mistake to type a number. The buttons are soft rubber, and more tactile and more secure than those of hard plastic on other phones. The sound quality is good for the phone, a little 'less for the defendant, which sounds cheap and natural. The range of equipment for the base unit is very good for my needs, I had them separated by 50-60 "with no apparent degradation. The devices are very light, much lighter than my previous phone, so I hope that the duration not be a problem. interesting and easy to read, bright, backlit LCD display with clear indication of battery life. A great game for the money.

Louise Miller When two people are talking about both phones emit a high pitched shrill painful noise that makes them useless. I really wanted to like these phones, but this is a serious shortcoming that can not go unnoticed, and is the reason why I return these. Panasonic is not necessarily a sign of bad, but avoid this particular model. You get what you pay for.
