So far this appears to be the best phone I have ever owned. I have had several other cordless phones and most never lasted very long. They would have a short range and short battery life. My kitchen microwave interfeared with one set I bought and others just stop working.

I just purchased this dual set. It is my first "DECT" technology phone. I could not believe how clear the sound is. The Dect 6.0 technology gives them greater range from the base and longer battery life. I immediately ordered 2 more handsets to add to the base. Adding the handsets is simple. I really like the intercom and call transfer features too.

I have read about one note of caution though: The base emitts a microwave pulse and some people who placed the base near their bed have claimed they have trouble sleeping.

This is an excellent product. Much improved over the 2.4 gigahertz AT&T phones I previously owned. These phones do not cause interference with my wireless network. The sound clarity is excellent, programming is simple, and adding a name/number to one phone automatically updates all others. Highly recommended.

Handset #1 works on speaker phone only. It is an aggravation that I may live with - haven't decided yet. Unexpected in an AT&T product. The first AT&T cordless I purchased was about 1989 --- lasted for 12 years! Could use all over the house and had perfect sound. Looked like the one on the comedy show "Friends". Cost $185, but still cheaper for the years of use.

This is a great phone if you want to just take it out of the box and immediately use! Caller ID window is large and easy to read. The flashing red button notifying you that voicemails are waiting is very helpful. Locator function helps when you cannot find the handset. Multiple volume settings make it easy to hear your callers. Batteries last for days without having to recharge. Slim, sleek, modern phone that takes up very little space. I'm very happy with this purchase.

We've had the phone about a month, having chosen it after reading reviews here and on [...]. I'm pleased, as sound quality and range are vastly better than older phones. Haven't run out of battery yet, but we keep it in the cradle. Another plus: despite the large buttons, this thing actually looks pretty good in a room. One minus: the thin shape makes it extremely hard to cradle between your neck and shoulder; you really need to keep this in your hand, especially as there's no jack for a headset. But, hey, it's fifty bucks for two phones (maybe cheaper by the time you read this), and they they work. No complaining.
