Mark Larson ( Oregon, USA ) I'm 62 years old, wear hearing aids, and own and operate a busy, noisy bicycle shop. Until I got the Clarity C435 I could not find a place quiet enough to be able to actually hear the person on the other end of the line. Now I can be almost anywhere in the shop and carry on a phone conversion. The phone works perfectly and as advertised, and my young employees can easily turn the volume down when they use it.

PandDandR ( USofA ) I have spent months trying to find a good phone. I spent good money for several more expensive phones (two of them made by this same company) and they ended up in the trash. This pnone works great at a moderate price and out shines Clarity's more expensive phones. Many years ago I purchased a Walker W-400 model cordless phone for myself and one for my Mother. They were wonderful phones and we both just simply wore them out. I searched far and wide to get another Walker to no avail. Then I found out Walker merged with Clarity and another company and this phone was their replacement for the W-400. It looks different, more modern, but functions like the Walker phone--same features and more.
It is a great phone and is easy for those with hearing diffficulties to use. If you are looking for something with storage for important numbers, a loud ring tone, and clear sound, this is the one. You won't go broke buying it either

I bought two of these phones; one for my 80 year old mother and one for me. Both of us have hearing issues but live on opposite ends of the country. The phone works great for my mother; she loves it. However, the phone did not work well for me. Everyone I talked to said that my voice sounded very "distant" so I put mine back in the box and will send it to her (so that she has a backup). I have to admit that 900 MHz phones have never worked well in my house - 2.4 GHz and higher tech phones, like DECT 6.0, have all worked fine in my house.
Thus, my review is mixed. Since my mother loved the phone, I would recommend it for senior citizens with hearing loss. The phone is simple, easy to use, and is quality-made, but it is outdated technology (e.g. 900 MHz).

Holistic Doc ( Idaho ) Though not named as such on the product page, the telephone is now obsolete. It is no longer manufactured by CLARITY. I would not have known this unless I had received a defective unit to which the vendor could not offer technical support. Subsequently, I called CLARITY in TN and found out the 435 Model is no longer made. Model 4105 was recommended by CLARITY. We'll see how THAT (current)model functions.

D. Miller ( Texas ) After reading some of the reviews, we took a chance since the phone had the features we needed. After charging overnight, we tried using the phone and the first call was great. When we took it to another room the connection was gone & the phone started blinking. If you put it back on the base, picked it up & made a call immediately, everything was fine. If you took it from the base and tried to use it in a minute or so, it would not work. Called Clarity and they said the phone was not programmed to blink, we had a bad unit and to return it. Wish it had worked because this was for a Father's Day present and the features on the phone were exactly what we wanted. Returned the phone to Amazon - did not try a second one.
