investor91 ( California,USA ) I'm frustrated - wonder why some not-too-bright product manager took the decision to limit the phonebook number entries to 20 in this day of cheap memory ?
Besides international numbers on prepaid calling card, I have a bunch of work related conference calls which I cannot fit into the phone book. Less than half of my current 40-50 phone book entries fit into this phone.
This one huge deficiency means I still need to use my 7 year old Panasonic phone to initiate calls, and then switch over to this phone to take the call i.e. run 2 bases, leaving no outlet for my fax.
Not worth the price you pay (even though I got this free from Comcast, it is clumsy to use because of the limitation)

Ann M. Rondon ( Utica, NY United States ) I would say these house phones are pretty kool for the price and for the fact that i had 5.8 ghz i guess n i needed 6.0 to upgrade as my old ones was dying on me n i didnt have them long. so pretty good so far, i had them a week.

Roger Stallard ( Atlanta, GA USA ) I was looking for quality phone set with the latest technoloty and that would be dependable and compatible with my Ooma VOIP system. I didn't need another answering machine. Many other phones include an answering machine whether I need one or not. Uniden offers consumers a choice. I have had many cordless systems over the years from several brands. This Uniden set is the best quality and best value I have every purchased. I highly recommend it.

T. MacDonald ( Washington, DC ) ...But the name of this product ("Cordless Digital Answering System with Caller ID") led me to believe that there was a digital answering machine in the base. There is NOT. "Digital Answering System" is just their fancy-pants way of saying "phone."
Other than that, the phones seem to work fine. I was too lazy to return them when I found out there was no answering machine.
